Resetting Password Online

Passport York account is maintained by York University. If you need to reset your password and haven’t set up your security questions for the account or forgot the answer(s),  you have to contact York support directly – please see details below.

 

If you have not set up security questions for your account…

Please note that you can reset the Passport York online ONLY if you have set up the security questions for your account.  Otherwise, you can reset the account using Email or Phone request by providing the information mentioned in the following web page: http://computing.yorku.ca/students/home/passwords-passport-york-access/password-reset/reset-passport-york-password/

Please note that York IT is NOT available during the weekends.  Their hours are 8:30 AM to 5:50 PM, Monday through Friday.

 

If you already know your current password and want to change it…

  • Go to Manage My Services (mms.yorku.ca)
  • Click on the check box beside “Click this box before logging in to change your Passport York password”
  • Log in using your Passport York username and password
  • Then follow the prompts to change your password

You need the following information to be able to reset the password or look up the username online.

  • Student number
  • Date of birth
  • Answers for the security questions
